My Hairy Vulva

After publishing award-winning research on vaginas, vulvas and wellbeing- she had a calling...and has been on the cutting edge of vagactivism and mental health ever since! Her poetry has been spotted inside London taxis, featured on the Sky Arts' show ‘Life and Rhymes’, heard at many a badass feminist event and is now ready to grace your beautiful ears.

Melodi

Melodi is a Spoken Word Artist and Model from Camden Town. Having discovered poetry after diving deeper into her spiritual practices, she has a common theme of growth and healing throughout her pieces. She is raw and honest in her story telling in hope that it may help others on their own path.

OPEN MIC RULES

Each slot is limited to ONE piece and a maximum of FOUR minutes please. This is so as many people as possible have the chance to share.

MIND OVER MATTER

Mind Over Matter is an independent project breaking down stigma attached to Mental Health by discussing it through Spoken Word Poetry, Hip Hop and Song. We host vibrant, inclusive events showcasing the best of up and coming talent as well as established artists from the Spoken Word, Hip Hop and Live Music scenes, for us to come together and discuss the difficult realities of mental health.
