Venue Description

The venue has a small step at the entrance (about 50mm) and we have a ramp available on request which can be put in place to assist with getting in. The venue has level access on one floor throughout. The venue has limited seating areas available on a first-come basis. Gigs are standing, but we can provide a viewing area for wheelchair users or a seat on request to ensure a view of the stage if required.

Toilets are not wheelchair accessible, however, the Robert Peel pub very close by has accessible toilets which you can use if necessary.

Bookable Facilities

Free tickets for Personal Assistants – We provide disabled attendees 1 free ticket for a Personal Assistant. To register for your extra ticket you can either buy your own ticket online (when this ticket purchase format is available) and forward your confirmation to elbowgigs@hotmail.co.uk. We will have your name with a “plus one” on the door waiting for you. please note this is available when Elbow Promotions in-house events are being put on. For PA

access to other events please contact those promoters directly.

Access to a viewing area We can provide a viewing area on request. This is a space to the side of the stage for a wheelchair user or a seat for non-wheelchair users if required for you and your PA. Please email elbowgigs@hotmail.co.uk to request this service. If you can let us know a few days before the gig it helps in us making sure the area is clear for you.

Upon arrival at the venue, a member of staff will be able to show you to your reserved viewing area if you requested one.

Personal Assistant ticket collection. Please bring a copy of your electronic ticket if bought online or show it to us on your phone. This will need to be shown to the staff member at the door as they will then provide you with your PA ticket or handstamp.

Opening Hours

Our opening times vary depending on events. Normal opening hours are Sunday to Thursday 17:00 to 00:00, and Friday and Saturday 17:00 to 02:00.

Medical Requirements

If you need to bring any medicines, food or drink to manage a medical condition or medical equipment you are welcome to do so. We don’t have any medical equipment at the venue.

At present, we, unfortunately, do not have any services such as Audio Enhancement e.g. loops, infra-red mobile connect systems / British Sign Language / Captioning / Audio Description / Relaxed Performances.

Assistance Dogs

Assistance dogs are welcome in the venue but the sound in the venue is loud. We can provide a water bowl and staff are aware that they will need to ask permission if they want to stroke any assistance dog.

Strobe Lighting

We run a no strobe lighting policy. But, if you have a query about a particular show please contact us in advance at elbowgigs@hotmail.co.uk
