Marianne exists as a collective of muscians based in London, UK. Drawing influences from a wide range of genres and styles, the line-up sees a blend of funk, R&B, soul, indie rock, reggae and even drum and bass influences. This newly formed collective had their debut performance at Notting Hill Arts Club in March 2023, selling out this historic venue in a great night of emerging live music alonsgide The 52s. After another sell-out show at the Camden Assembly in July 2023 the band continue to grow and evolve, working with different muscians and venues accross London to deliver a unique sound and an immersive live music experience.

Winners of the Hotvox and Bingley Festival Future Icon competition, the boys have been fast tracked to play at some of London’s iconic venues, headlining The Old Queen’s Head, and playing to sell out crowds at The O2 Academy Islington.

James Sebastian is the face of “the new rock and roll”, bringing the energy and power of 1970s classic rock to the modern music scene. His songwriting crackles with a retro vibe whilst never sounding out of place among his contemporaries and his live shows are just as important as his songs when it comes to showing people a good time. Imagine if Harry Styles fronted Led Zeppelin.

James has headlined such prestigious venues in the UK as the Exeter Cavern, the Golden Lion in Bristol and the Stags Head in Hoxton over the course of only a year whilst also being featured in the lineups for the popular Devon-based festivals, Hijacked and Dave’s Woodstock.
