About:
Holoscene https://youtu.be/W1K1zJHT1zA
www.facebook.com/holocenesonic
Holocene fuses the two at odds worlds of grunge and jazz into a new melancholy. Influenced by the rock records she listened to as a kid; PJ Harvey, Nirvana and Soundgarden to name a few, Holocene's music pays homage to the artists she loves, and spins it into a new web of dark pop/rock. Obsessed with fuzzy bass lines and distorted guitars, Holocene pairs this with her soulful deep voice. Holocene's music celebrates the lower resonances of the female voice, with spine tinglingly dark lyricism starkly set against a background of growling guitars and drums.
Almost Famous https://spoti.fi/3Agsqvv
www.facebook.com/Afbandoffical
Hailing from across the UK and forming in London; Almost Famous' sound blends the gritty angst and energy of grunge, classic rock and metal; with the euphoric soundscape of dream pop and psychedelia; all together swirling beneath their poetic lyrics and impossibly catchy melodies. Almost famous bring an explosion of energy to the stage that any crowd will struggle to forget.

We’re a five-piece alt metal band from London Our sound has always been dark, passionate and heavy, and our latest album, Anatomy of Power, is no exception. It’s hard, riffy, soulful, groovy, catchy... and will appeal to fans of Anthrax, Dream Theater and well beyond. We think this is the best thing we've ever done, but don't just take our word for it.

Formed in 2020 by brothers Samuel Khan (Vocals) and James Khan (Guitars/Vocals) when they started writing and recording songs together, they quickly had a few songs ready to go and asked some friends to start the band. Matt Fox (Drums) and Jack Hollister (Guitar) jumped onboard along with their friend James Clarke (Bass) The band played their first live show two days before the UK national lockdown was announced. During the lockdown they recorded a EP worths of material, ‘Rewind’ is the first song they wrote and recorded together.
