A funk/rock band formed in Southampton UK in January 2022, Underscore burst on to the scene with an electrifying debut show at The Hobbit Pub Southampton, marking the beginning of a series of lively performances at local venues including Heartbreakers Southampton, RamJam Records Kingston and The Railway Inn Winchester. Drawing inspiration from pop and funk artists like Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Stevie Wonder and Toto, with touches of hard rock and blues, their unique blends of sounds create a fun, emotional and energetic atmosphere that one desires at every live music experience. Underscore have quickly become a regular in the South UK music scene, captivating audiences with heartfelt lyrics and ‘feel good’ funk grooves, leaving them craving for more after every performance.
