Columbia was formed in 2022 when founders Sean Coles and Joseph Allen decided to perform cover songs at a local pub in Brentwood. They later returned for a Christmas Eve gig, laying the foundation for the band.

Drawing influence from a wide range of artists, Columbia blends the pop and groove-driven sensibilities of The 1975, the raw guitar energy of Jimi Hendrix, and the soulful musicality of Donny Hathaway and Tom Misch.

Now entering a new chapter, Columbia returns in a refreshed and fixed form. With the addition of Daniel on drums and guitarist Rei, a new trio is formed, with new music soon to follow.
