The Scene Camden ft. Hypnogator, Desire Lines, Identified Flying Objects

Hypnogator 

South East London-based band Hypnogator are a striking blend of heavy-rock, psychedelic rock and prog.

Describing their music as a “journey through the Cosmic Swamp” the band offers a sprawling garage-rock-come-psychedelic sound. Formed during the end of lockdown, the band blend their influences from old-school Led Zeppelin-esque riffs to contemporary elements of psychedelia, jazz, and funk. The result is a high energy, expressive and intricate sound that has seen the band covered by Earmilk, New Noise Magazine and Psychedelic Baby Magazine, and establish themselves on London's rock scene playing packed out shows at venues including Camden Assembly and O2 Academy Islington.

As Hypnogator invites fans to join them on a voyage through their psychedelic underworld, they showcase not only their brilliant musicianship but their ability to craft infectious soundscapes that capture the energy and excitement of their live shows in all of their records.

Desire Lines

Alt-Rock band Desire Lines formed in Canterbury in 2022. Taking fuzz fuelled Post Grunge and
infusing it with elements of Post Punk, Doom and Art Rock, they use wide dynamics to swing from
unapologetically big sounds to delicate melodies and poetic lyricism.

Desire Lines are James Drouot, Marc Prentice, Jasmine Marceau and Max Newton. Frontman
James and guitarist Marc performed together in the late 2000s under the name Randal. Marc went
on to be a founding member of Post Doom band Ohhms with drummer Max. James and bassist
Jasmine began the project initially in mid ‘22 before Marc and Max signed on a short while later.

In summer 2023, the Canterbury quartet released their debut EP, Everything Is Fine. A melodic
three-track explosion of lo-fi distortion and exhilarating energy, it received strong praise and
multiple plays on BBC Introducing. With a second releases scheduled for the second half of 2024,
the band are an exciting future prospect.

North London based 6 piece indie band. Fusing Funk-Punk Guitar, Roots Flute, Portuguese Rap, German Soul Bass, Tribal Drums and Acid Jazz Keys. Strictly original tunes with hints of Blue Beat. Don't Object, Join The Objects!
