"Robin Green is an exciting original act with a fresh take on New Wave and Glam rock in a similar vein to Bowie and Blondie. Compounded with themes of balladry, satire and jazzy goodness, the music sways between gentle piano passages and hard hitting rock. And at the front of it all, Robin Green never fails to turn heads with her wild get-up and immaculate vocals."
"STATUS COMPLICATED. A hard rock band based in London who is very progressive in their approach to create their music. Noticeable back in the generation x grunge fused with electronic elements. They believe in a classic sound with the strength and emotions existing in our life journey. Lyrics about hope. Even if life is hard, it is about experience and perception that’s why hope is essential and can even save somebody's life.
Musically they will take you on a journey with punchy drums, deep bass, crushing guitar riffs and melodic solos, powerful vocal, emerging synths, memorable piano feels, romantic violin… and much more.
Marcin (guitar, keys, violin) and Kacper (drums) once met and had this idea to merge their passion to create something epic. It was complicated, but their decision was to leave their existing project and find people who will share and understand their values.
Band has just finished recording at Abbey Road Studios for their first album and is going to release it soon."
Boycey are a four-piece semi-acoustic band who play a mix of original uptempo originals and mid-paced ballads. Moykal O'Bui is the songwriter and front man, playing acoustic guitar and singing. Pat Rowles plays bass and sings backing vocals. Mark Thorne plays keyboards and sings backing vocals. Tim Campbell plays assorted percussion. They released their debut album "Life Leaks A Hole" in 2010. They have followed this with EP and single releases in the meantime, including their double A side single "To The Girl/Her Silent Tears" at the end of last year. They are continuing to release a batch of singles leading up to their next album which should be out next year. Moyk's songs are at times influenced by his Irish heritage with themes about love, loss, pleasant/unsavoury characters, life's encounters, the class system, eating too much, hair, Merton, the music business and youth. The band are introducing new songs into the set all the time, including new songs currently being recorded for their next release, the "A Thousand Deaths EP".
