LATE BAR

Louis Halsey is a singer-songwriter from East London. Through his use of language he seeks to find a deeper connection in his audience, finding inspiration in the world around him and subsequently the imagery it creates. His musical upbringing starts with the american singer-songwriters such as James Taylor and Carol King who are some of the artists responsible for his sound. Heavily influenced by the likes of Bob Dylan, Elliott Smith, who in turn have influenced his lyrical ability and playing style. Modernist themes in his music are also present, found through his love for sound music and modern adaptations of the music he was brought up on. This eclectic taste has shaped a sound which is authentic to himself whilst attempting to be compatible with his audience. Louis Halsey started his performance portfolio on the acoustic stage at Kendal Calling Festival and consistently performs in London, spreading the imagery from him to you. Louis Halsey shelters his sound through the confines of imagery and dreams. Halsey continues to work with other artists seeking to spread his words across as many people as possible.

Their followup EP "Over Your Last Dying Breath" was released in 2024 and is a continuation of the same style with the addidtion of some slight progressive elements.
