The Fizzy Kisses.
Blending, Funk, Indie and Rock into a melting pot of grooves. This Oxford three piece know how to create a party. The Fizzy Kisses bring an exciting and very refreshing sound to your ear drums. Surprising, uplifting and as energetic as a wild night on Tequila.
Brigadé Junk were formed at the tail end of 2022. Three like-minded musicians with a whole heap of ‘nearly was’ bands behind them, who still had a yearning to make ‘old school late 20th century beatnik punk ‘n’ roll’. So, against their better judgement, and despite their advancing years, they decided to join forces to become London’s favourite power-trio – as they are quick to point out, “We ain’t reinventing the wheel”.
They’re currently playing the capital’s small venues circuit and gaining a reputation as a lean, mean and tight as hell live act, a throwback to the late 70’s powerhouses such as The Attractions and The Clash. They also wear their literary pretensions on their sleeve, oft quoting beat poets and even bringing a typewriter to the stage so the audience can take part in trying out “the counterculture’s greatest weapon of the 20th century”, they mean it maan!
So, if you like your rock ‘n’ roll smart, tough, sweat drenched, rabble rousing and occasionally chaotic, you could do worse than take a punt on this outfit. As self-proclaimed ‘post-modern has-beens’, they’ll crack on regardless anyways. It’s their way, it’s their tao, it’s their zen, it’s their beat.
Join us again at the Fiddler's Elbow for a packed 2 sets of Grateful Goodness

Gomes is a power player who is at his best when his gear is in the scorched earth between blues and rock. After all, it’s the electric guitar; sometimes tickling it is not enough." - Guitar World
With a guitar slung over his shoulder and the amps turned up full tilt, Anthony Gomes electrifies blues and rock at a 21st century crossroads of his own. The Canadian vocalist, guitarist, songwriter and producer wails with all the force of a hurricane in the Mississippi Delta and enough fret-burning fireworks to leave his strings in flames.
Over the years, he’s toppled the Billboard Blues Chart at #1, earned the endorsement of legends such as B.B. King, tallied tens of millions of streams, and packed shows on multiple continents. In April 2025, Anthony Gomes is back with his much-anticipated 14th studio album, Praise the Loud, set for release on Rat Pak Records.
Looking for an actual 21st Century guitar hero? Here he is.
