VIATOREM

The concept of VIATOREM is simple - to point out the flaws in the modern world’s current parliamentary and political systems, the oppression and dehumanisation of peoples around the globe, the prejudice toward those needlessly deemed “not welcome”, and the rising threat of the far-right. VIATOREM, established 2019, use the frustration caused by the modern political climate to inspire aggressive riffs and grooves within a modern hardcore sound, whilst adding progressive elements from the level of musicianship and creative vision of Pip, Rodrigo, Serge, and original drummer Graziano (Replaced by Finn Rodgers). It wasn’t until Ross joined the band as a vocalist that the message was shaped and finalised within his lyrics, and VIATOREM are now ready to make their mark. We are all travellers within the world we have built for ourselves, and our message will be heard.

Truckstar are a lo-fi slacker rock trio formed in Brighton. Their recent and debut album titled ‘Don’t Look’ was recorded and mixed on an old 1980s Tascam four track and was released on cassette, needless to say these guys are certainly explorers of old world tricks. Their sound is reminiscent of some 1990s underground groups such as Guided by Voices, Duster or Sebadoh but still managing to maintain a unique approach to the genre.
