The Jackson Line
With two lead vocalists in the shape of Keith Porter and Jamie Cook, harmonies were always going to be front and centre in The Jackson Line, who deliver a modern take on classic Country and Americana. Storytelling, harmonies and guitars are at the heart of what they do.
The band are comfortable with the tag of ‘modern country’, but with each member bringing a wide range of differing influences to the table they create thoughtful, melodic songs, which capture the essence of country while allowing their other influences to permeate.
Since the release of their debut EP, Don’t Wait, the band have amassed over 300,000 streams across all platforms, and had their music featured, played or playlisted on multiple radio stations including Countryline, Absolute Country, BBC Introducing and editorial playlists such as Apple’s ‘Countrywide’ and Spotify’s ‘New Music Nashville’.
Gasoline & Matches
Gasoline & Matches are a high energy, multi-award winning country/rock duo from Birmingham. Combining close harmonies, melodic guitar licks and serious musicianship.
Fronted by Sally Rea Morris and Stephen Marks, they are fierce entertainers known for their tongue-in-cheek and much-loved song “Never Have I Ever” described by Bob Harris as “Clever, funny, totally original…and it’s Country!” They built momentum after multiple spins on BBC Radio 2, and never fail to get the audience on their feet to participate in the infamous drinking game which inspired the song. As resident hosts of ‘Nashville Sounds in the Round’, their Nashville style songwriter round at Birmingham Symphony Hall, it’s clear to see their contribution & influence on Country and Americana music in the Midlands.
An impressive run of UK festival appearances, and transatlantic performances from LA to Nashville has attracted international recognition, landing several major global brand endorsements. Their live show is full of charisma and not to be missed!
