We play funk/rock with strong roots in the 90’s Crossover (Red Hot Chili Peppers firstly and foremost), our repertoire is a 50-50 original composition and re-arranged rock classic. FastFunk is our motto and our anthem!

A high-octane cocktail of camp with a political edge and an undeniable groove, THWACK! bring unabashed queer theatricality and raw grit to every performance. 

Formed in the ashes of late capitalist hell (London 2022), the five-piece quickly settled into a unique sound, with soaring string melodies and guttural rhythms propelling their satirical and emotional lyrics forward—blink and you might miss the (sucker)punch line.

Combined decades of experience in drag, theatre, punk and classical music make THWACK! punch high above their weight class: they’re new to the scene, but here with a vengeance.
