Lake Crook Mouth
From Sydney Australia, singer songwriter Lock Campbell moved to London in 2019 to study Music Production and Sound Engineering at the Abbey Road Institue. During the course he recruited the chops of Patrick Stolze on the drums and Conor Cotterill on the bass to record over 20 original songs between the Abbey Road Institute and Studio 13. Blending funk and blues influences to Indie/Alternative songwriting, Lake Crook Mouth showcases Lock’s broad musical interests and immersive lyrics with the variety of expertise in his band.
Playroom are an authentic alt/rock/power pop quartet based in London, England with influences ranging from Beethoven to Metallica and from Bowie to Rush.
This band combines their vast experience and musical influences to perform memorable, bold, punchy songs with angst ridden lyrics and anthemic choruses. Their unique sound is neatly fused together with staccato drums, throbbing bass and ambient guitar.
Founding members Mica (guitar/vocals) and Marc (bass) used to play in an earlier incarnation of Playroom with Mica on drums. As the main songwriter Mica is now on guitar and vocals. They met at a post lockdown gig in London and reformed recruiting Ru (lead vocals/keyboards) and started making music as three piece. Soon after, Sky joined as the drummer after a hook up on BandMix to complete the new Playroom line-up.
With their own permanent rehearsal/recording studio in Camden, London, Playroom are able to craft their songs at leisure, anytime 24/7. The band all contribute to the songwriting, collaboratively adding, subtracting and combining all the music, production and lyrics."
Cuecliché are a three piece pop-punk band from London. Inspired by an intimate Blink 182 acoustic show in Kingston, Cuecliché came together through a mutual love of the early 2000s pop-punk scene, creating their own brand of nostalgia-soaked anthems reminiscent of Sum 41, Blink-182, Taking Back Sunday and New Found Glory.
