We want to make live music both accessible for everyone, and also financially sustainable for bands and venues.
The huge costs of rehearsals and logistics have made smaller bands playing live music financially unsustainable which has led to many live music venues closing down.
We want to change that.
This is a free entry gig to ensure it is accessible for everyone, however, we are requesting a band support fee of £10 per person.
The vast majority of the band support fee from Band Up! nights will go directly to the band (rather than the promoter)
Paying will ensure that the band you are supporting can continue to play gigs and contribute to the community.
We are all in this for great nights out, sharing our music with like-minded individuals and having a laugh.
