Coming from 3 different cultures, the sound is a blend of 3 inevitably different perspectives, producing a sound that is both familiar but unusual.
At times melodic and melancholic at others raw and unfiltered, this cultural collision produced textured guitar landscapes over driving bass, underpinned by intense and explosive drumming. 

Waves of meditative, progressive rock are punctured by sharp hits of punk that make for exciting live shows.

The Outers are a London based indie rock/post punk band with original music written by Phill Dodane and Ade Seriki, formed in 2013. Their songs are characterised by a distinctive, up-tempo rhythm section supporting catchy guitar and vocal melodies."We try to incorporate the vintage sound and subtle melodies of British pop, with the edge of modern Indie Rock and the depth of Post Punk. We also have a few Electro Pop songs to add a bit of a dance groove". 
The Outers manage to find their style after mixing their influences such as the Arctic Monkeys, Editors, Metric, The Strokes, Ex Cops, Chvrches, MGMT, Blondie, The Killers, Suede, and Coldplay. "Our love for Indie-Rock bands, London's eclectic culture and life style inspires us".
