Brigadé Junk were formed at the tail end of 2022. Three like-minded musicians with a whole heap of ‘nearly was’ bands behind them, who still had a yearning to make ‘old school late 20th century beatnik punk ‘n’ roll’. So, against their better judgement, and despite their advancing years, they decided to join forces to become London’s favourite power-trio – as they are quick to point out, “We ain’t reinventing the wheel”.
They’re currently playing the capital’s small venues circuit and gaining a reputation as a lean, mean and tight as hell live act, a throwback to the late 70’s powerhouses such as The Attractions, Dr Feelgood and The Clash. They also wear their literary pretensions on their sleeve, oft quoting beat poets and even bringing a typewriter to the stage so the audience can take part in trying out “the counterculture’s greatest weapon of the 20th century”, they mean it maan!
So, if you like your rock ‘n’ roll smart, tough, sweat drenched, rabble rousing and occasionally chaotic, you could do worse than take a punt on this outfit. As self-proclaimed ‘post-modern has-beens’, they’ll crack on regardless anyways. It’s their way, it’s their tao, it’s their zen, it’s their beat.
The Bungees
After selling out multiple venues in their hometown of Ipswich such as The Smokehouse and The Music Room on several occasions, The Bungees made their way to Norwich for pastures green. The quartet - Archie Ormrod (lead vocals, guitar), Riley Godbold (lead guitar, vocals), Fin Salter (bass) and Finn Lawley (drums) - provide an earthquaking hybrid of rock, alternative, indie pop and psychedelic music that burns brighter than ever amidst their return to the scene in 2025.

Catch me! Kati Debretzeni brings you an evening of Baroque canons, fugues and catches... this one will keep you on your toes.
https://tickets.oae.co.uk/136747/137047
Don’t be fooled – canons and fugues might suggest musical games or technical exercises, but in the hands of some of our favourite composers they can quickly become a full evening of musical fireworks. Kati Debretzeni (violin) is joined by Katy Bircher (flute), Andrew Skidmore (cello) and Satoko Doi-Luck (harpsichord) to treat you to a setlist that includes Bach’s Trio Sonata from The Musical Offering and pieces from The Art of Fugue, Canonic Fugues by Telemann and… [checks email] some naughty songs by Purcell. You’ve been warned.
The Night Shift is our series of informal chamber music gigs – literally music for smaller rooms, in the home or other places where people socialise. They’re a chance to hear the members of the OAE playing music that they’re passionate about and bringing in a wide range of musical influences. So come along, grab a drink with friends (or meet some new ones) and enjoy the music.
There are two ticket price choices for The Night Shift. Our suggested price is £15 or you can ‘pay what you choose’ by entering your amount (with a £8 minimum up to as much as you like!).

Eleanor (born Leonor Marques) is a 19-year-old Portuguese artist based in London. Music has been part of her life since childhood, and years of study have deepened her passion for creating and performing.
Her journey as an artist officially began on August 30, 2025, with the release of her debut single “Never Mine.” Rooted in singer-songwriter and pop, Eleanor’s sound is enriched by her wide range of influences — from the warmth of jazz to the elegance of classical music, often weaving strings and orchestral textures into her arrangements. With another single on the way and her first full album set to arrive in December 2025, she is quickly establishing herself as one of the most exciting emerging voices of her generation.
Eleanor is committed to giving her audience everything she has — with each performance and every song, she promises to deliver her heart, soul, and best self to the public.
Radfax
In the cosmic quiet of Earth’s shadow, a vessel slipped through the atmosphere—a craft carrying Radfax, a collective of harmonic symbiotes from a dimension where sound shapes reality. Their mission: to locate the Keys of Harmony, cosmic frequencies lost to a planet drowning in "white noise" (a.k.a. human existential static). Equipped with The Filter Flask—a transcoder that distills chaos into rhythm—they landed, disguised as a band, to reboot humanity’s connection to universal resonance.
Now in our 16th year.
Since 2010, on the third Friday of every month Gary, Lucienne and Danny, plus special guests, have been playing the finest northern soul, mod, Motown, vintage R&B, Two Tone, ska and rocksteady, all on vinyl.
Chuffed to announce that, making his Crawdaddy! DJ debut this month is Jon Clay (Compared To What)

Hot on the heels of three sold-out London gigs in 2025, and a string of successful shows across the UK, Cian Downing and his band return to London to continue promoting their debut album 'The Grassroots to the Sky.' Cian's gigs have sold out for a reason. Cian has bowled over crowds with his infectious energy, Billy Bragg-esque vocals, and fantastically-crafted songs, brought to life by his exceptional four-piece backing band.
Support comes from Cian's label-mates at Heavy Soul Records, The Hornets, a four piece Rhythm & Blues band based in and around London.
They have recently played sold out gigs for The Ealing Club, Ram Jam Records, The Hanwell Cavern, Questors Theatre, The Spice Of Life, Mr Wolfs, Slim Jim's Liquor Store, The Crawdaddy Club, and The Isle of Wight Lambretta Day to name a few.
